About Add Image to PDF

Add images to your PDF documents with full control over placement, size, and transparency. Whether you're inserting a company logo onto a letterhead, adding a stamp to a certificate, or placing a photo into a report, this tool lets you overlay PNG or JPG images onto any page of your PDF.

Upload your PDF and image file, then specify which page should receive the image. Position controls let you place the image at exact coordinates, and scale settings resize the image without distortion. Opacity controls let you make the image semi-transparent for watermark-like effects or fully opaque for stamps and logos.

Businesses add logos to invoices, contracts, and official documents. Teachers insert diagrams into worksheets. Designers place graphics onto PDF layouts. HR departments add company stamps to certificates and letters. Real estate agents overlay property photos onto PDF brochures.

Common Use Cases

  • Add company logo to PDF documents
  • Insert stamps or seals onto certificates
  • Place photos into PDF reports
  • Add signature images to contracts
  • Overlay graphics onto PDF brochures

How It Works

Uses pdf-lib to embed PNG (with alpha transparency) or JPG images directly into the PDF structure. Images are placed at exact coordinates with configurable scale and opacity. Original PDF content is preserved.

Supported Formats

PNG and JPG images are supported. PNG images preserve transparency.
Currently the tool adds an image to one page at a time. For multiple pages, use the watermark tool which applies to all pages.
