WAV supports sample rates up to 655 kHz and bit depths up to 32-bit float.
WAV is uncompressed — it stores the exact decoded PCM data without any further processing or loss. The output quality equals the decoded 3GPP source quality, no more and no less. For AMR-sourced audio at 8 kHz, the WAV faithfully reproduces the narrowband telephony-grade sound.
