New features, improvements, and fixes shipped to ConvertIntoMP4.
Preview every setting before you upload
Converter pages now show the full Trim & Audio panel and format-specific options before you add a file, so you can see exactly what you can customize up front. The real controls appear in the same spot once your file is in โ no layout shift.
Free batch conversion has been here all along, but our own pages called it a Pro feature. Pricing, FAQ, and the homepage now say it plainly: batch up to 5 files free, 20 on Pro, 50 on Business.
Trimming start and end happens directly in the conversion widget via Trim & Audio โ the MP4 to MP3 page no longer points you to a separate trimmer. The dropzone also now leads with the real ceiling: 2GB on Pro, 100MB free.
A deep audit traced 113 settings from the form to the engine and fixed every one that was silently ignored โ playback speed, bass/treble, metadata tags, remove audio, image DPI, signature fonts, and SVG threshold among them. When a setting can't be applied exactly, a warning now appears on the download card.
Downloading a batch as a ZIP now hands you off to CDN-backed storage instead of streaming the archive through our servers โ downloads start faster and re-downloading the same batch is instant.
All 417 blog posts are now pre-compiled at build time and served from the edge. Posts load instantly and the rendering failures some readers hit are gone.
Auto-injected side rails and anchor ads no longer appear pressed against the converter. Our own desktop rail units now keep a constant, comfortable gap from the content column on wide screens.
Tool and conversion pages on mobile now use compact fixed-size ad slots that can't push the converter below the fold. Trust badges align in a tidy grid and quick-pair chips wrap instead of hiding behind a sideways scroll.
Code blocks and ad units no longer stretch pages past the mobile viewport, and the header no longer pushes the Get Pro button offscreen in Spanish and other longer-label languages.
We were undercounting ourselves: the registry holds 2,234 conversion pairs, so site copy now says 2,200+. The FAQ also lists the real daily quotas (50/day Free, 2,000/day Pro) instead of vague claims.
Default H.264 encoding moved from the slow to the medium preset across 14 video formats โ roughly twice as fast with visually identical output. Picking High quality on the compress path still uses the slow preset.
A tighter hero with a visible Choose Files button, quick-pair chips, category tabs for popular conversions, a verifiable trust strip, and a clear Free vs Pro comparison. Fabricated stats and filler sections were deleted.
Retry actually re-runs failed files instead of doing nothing, Cancel aborts in-flight uploads immediately, and a cancelled job can no longer consume a conversion credit.
FixedTeam invite abuse prevention with Redis rate limiting (10/hour)
ImprovedHealth endpoints now check PostgreSQL connectivity and return 503 when degraded
ImprovedDocker healthchecks for worker (heartbeat file) and Bull Board (GET /health)
