The camera's inherent softness and limited dynamic range mean that JPEG compression artifacts are imperceptible. Even quality 80% produces acceptable results because the low resolution contains little fine detail for compression to destroy. There is no practical reason to use quality below 90% for K25 files — the space savings would be measured in kilobytes.
