工作原理
FFmpeg reads the WAVE file's RIFF header to determine PCM format (bit depth, sample rate, channels) and decodes the raw audio. For 3GP output, it re-encodes to either AMR-NB (8 kHz mono, 4.75-12.2 kbps) or AAC-LC at low bitrate inside a 3GP container. The massive bitrate reduction — from 1,411 kbps (CD-quality WAV) to 12.2 kbps (AMR-NB) — represents over 99% compression. Channel count is reduced to mono for AMR-NB.

Quality loss is substantial. WAVE files store the full uncompressed audio signal, while AMR-NB at 12.2 kbps produces telephone-quality speech. For spoken word this is acceptable — voices remain clearly intelligible. For music, AMR-NB introduces severe artifacts. Using AAC at 32-64 kbps inside 3GP provides noticeably better quality for music content while remaining compatible with modern 3GP-capable devices.
