PNG compression is lossless. File sizes depend on page complexity—text-heavy pages produce smaller files than image-heavy pages.
PNG conversion is lossless at the rendering stage—no compression artifacts are introduced. Quality depends on rendering resolution. Higher DPI produces sharper results but larger files. 150-300 DPI suits most needs.
