This page is provided in compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 ("CCPA") and the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 ("CPRA"), as codified at California Civil Code § 1798.100 et seq. The CCPA grants California residents specific rights regarding their personal information. ConvertIntoMP4 is committed to honoring those rights and being transparent about how we collect, use, and handle personal information.
We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information
ConvertIntoMP4 does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration. We have never sold personal information and have no plans to do so. We do not participate in data broker networks or share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. Our revenue comes exclusively from paid subscription plans and API usage fees, not from monetizing user data.

Your Rights Under the CCPA
As a California resident, you have the following rights:
- Right to Know (Access): You have the right to request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which the information was collected, the business purpose for collecting the information, and the categories of third parties with whom we share personal information.
- Right to Delete: You have the right to request the deletion of your personal information that we have collected. You can delete your account and all associated data directly from your dashboard settings, or submit a request to us.
- Right to Correct: You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you. You can update your profile information directly from your dashboard.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale: You have the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. As stated above, we do not sell your personal information, so no opt-out action is required.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. We will not deny you services, charge different prices, provide a different quality of service, or retaliate in any way for exercising your rights under the CCPA.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: We do not collect sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary for providing the service. This right applies to businesses that collect sensitive PI for secondary purposes, which we do not.
How to Submit a Request
You may submit a verifiable consumer request to exercise your CCPA rights by:
- Email: Send your request to [email protected] with the subject line "CCPA Request".
- Dashboard: Registered users can access, correct, and delete their personal information directly through their account dashboard at any time.
You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. The authorized agent must provide proof of your signed permission and we may still require you to verify your identity directly with us.
Verification Process
To protect your privacy and security, we will verify your identity before processing any CCPA request. The verification process varies depending on the type of request:
- Registered users: We will verify your identity by confirming ownership of the email address associated with your account. You may be asked to log in to your account or respond to a verification email.
- Non-registered users: We will match information you provide in your request against information we have on file. You may need to provide your email address and additional details to help us locate your records.
- Deletion and correction requests: These requests require a higher degree of verification. We may ask you to confirm the request via a separate communication channel.
Response Timeline
We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 10 business days and provide a substantive response within 45 calendar days of receiving your verifiable consumer request. If we need additional time, we may extend this period by an additional 45 calendar days (up to 90 days total), and we will notify you of the extension and the reason for it. We will provide the required information free of charge. If requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive, we may charge a reasonable fee or refuse to act on the request.

We do not offer any financial incentives, price differences, or service differences in exchange for the retention or sale of personal information. Our pricing is the same for all users regardless of whether they exercise their CCPA rights.
