Cum se convertește
Upload one or more images — JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, and BMP all work.
Adjust the settings panel: quality (the default 90 looks identical to the original), an optional page size with margin and landscape orientation, and — with several images — the Combine into one PDF toggle.
Click Convert and download your PDF — one combined multi-page file with the toggle on, or one PDF per image with it off.
Despre JPG to PDF
JPG to PDF conversion turns image files into PDF documents — the format the rest of the world expects when you submit, archive, print, or formally share something. A photo of a signed form, a screenshot of a confirmation, a scanned receipt: as a JPG, each is just a loose picture; as a PDF, it becomes a document that uploads cleanly to government portals, applicant tracking systems, expense tools, and email threads where image attachments get mangled or rejected.
Why convert a JPG to PDF at all? The two formats solve different problems. JPEG is a raster image format built for photographs: it compresses visual detail efficiently, but it carries no concept of a page, prints unpredictably (every app makes its own scaling decision), and many upload forms refuse it outright. PDF is a fixed-layout document format: it has defined page boundaries, renders and prints identically on every device, supports multi-page documents, and is the de-facto standard for anything official. Converting wraps your image in that document structure — the picture itself is preserved, but it now behaves like paper.
How the conversion works. By default each image is embedded onto its own PDF page sized to the image's dimensions — nothing is cropped, stretched, or padded. You can also place the image on a standard page instead: pick A4, A5, Letter, Legal, or A3 in the settings panel and the image is scaled to fit (aspect ratio preserved) and centered on a white page, with a Landscape toggle to swap the page orientation and a margin setting (in millimeters) to add white space on all four sides. Quality is under your control too: the Quality setting defaults to 90, which is visually indistinguishable from the original for photos and scans, and you can lower it to shrink the output or raise it to 100 for maximum fidelity. Alongside JPG and JPEG, the tool accepts PNG, WebP, GIF, and BMP, so mixed image folders convert without preprocessing. iPhone photos saved as HEIC should take a quick trip through our HEIC to JPG converter first.
Turning many images into one PDF. Upload several images and switch on Combine into one PDF: every image becomes its own page of a single multi-page document, in the order shown in the file list — drag the rows to reorder before converting. A scanned contract photographed page by page, a photo portfolio, a stack of receipts for an expense report all come out as one PDF in one pass, and the whole batch counts as a single conversion against your daily quota. Leave the toggle off and each image converts to its own separate PDF instead; you can always stitch separate PDFs together later with our Merge PDF tool.
Who uses this. Students photograph handwritten assignments and submit them as PDFs because learning platforms require it. Job applicants convert certificate and ID photos into the PDF uploads that application portals demand. Freelancers and small businesses turn receipt photos into archivable expense documents. Real estate agents and contractors convert site photos into shareable, printable documentation. Anyone who has ever been told "PDF only" by an upload form is the audience for this tool.
Privacy and limits. Free conversions accept images up to 50 MB each — far above what a phone camera produces. Files transfer over HTTPS, are processed server-side in an isolated directory, and are automatically deleted within two hours; the download card includes a Delete File Now button if you want them gone immediately. We never index or reuse your images.
After converting, common next steps are compressing the PDF for email, merging several PDFs into one document, or going the other direction with PDF to JPG. Working with documents instead of photos? PDF to Word makes a PDF editable again, and PNG to PDF handles screenshots and graphics with transparency. The full toolkit lives on the PDF tools hub.

Cum funcționează
By default each image is embedded onto a PDF page sized to the image's own dimensions, so nothing is cropped or distorted. Selecting a page size (A4, A5, Letter, Legal, A3) instead scales the image to fit the page — aspect ratio preserved, centered on white — with optional landscape orientation and a millimeter margin on all sides. The Quality setting (default 90) controls JPEG re-encoding inside the PDF — 90 is visually indistinguishable from the original; 100 maximizes fidelity. With multiple images, the Combine into one PDF toggle produces a single multi-page document in one job. Output PDFs open in every standard viewer and can be further edited, merged, or compressed with our other PDF tools.
