Extract Pages — Free Online Tool
Pull specific pages out of a PDF into a new file.
About Extract Pages
Page extraction is the more-precise sibling of splitting. Whereas splitting typically operates on ranges or every-N-pages, extraction is targeted: pick exactly the pages you want, in any order, and get them as a single new PDF. The visual thumbnail picker shows every page at a glance — click to select, shift-click to range-select, ctrl-click for non-contiguous additions. Common use cases include pulling a single signed exhibit out of a 200-page deposition, copying just chapters 3 and 7 from a textbook for course materials, or extracting the executive-summary pages from a longer report for distribution. The output PDF assembles the selected pages in selection order (you can drag thumbnails to re-order before extracting if needed), embeds the same fonts and images from the source, and preserves hyperlinks that point inside the extracted range. Form fields contained on extracted pages remain fillable; fields pointing outside are pruned. Bookmarks whose targets are inside the extraction are kept with their structure; bookmarks outside are dropped. This is a lossless page-level copy — no re-rendering, no quality degradation, no font substitution — and runs server-side in seconds even for large source files.

Frequently asked questions
How is this different from Split PDF?
Split is typically range-based or interval-based (every 10 pages). Extract is page-by-page targeted: pick exactly the pages you want, in any order. Use Extract for surgical operations and Split for chunked breakdowns.
Can I re-order pages in the output?
Yes. Drag the selected thumbnails into your preferred order before clicking Extract. The output PDF will have pages in that order.
Do bookmarks survive extraction?
Bookmarks pointing inside the extraction range are kept and re-linked to the new page numbers. Bookmarks pointing outside are dropped (they would 404 in the new file).
What about hyperlinks?
Internal links to extracted pages are rewritten. External http/https links are preserved verbatim. Links to dropped pages are removed.
Is the output watermarked?
No. We never watermark output. Files are clean PDFs identical to the source minus the unselected pages.
