Merging is the second-most-common PDF operation after compression because document workflows rarely produce a single file at the end. A typical loan application is a cover page, a credit report, two months of bank statements, and a signed disclosure — five separate PDFs that need to become one before submission. Our merge tool uses pdf-lib in-memory to concatenate at the page level, which means no re-encoding and zero quality loss. Every page lands in the output exactly as it appeared in the input, with embedded fonts intact, hyperlinks still clickable, and form fields still fillable. You can upload up to 20 PDFs at once and re-order them with a drag-and-drop interface that shows page-one thumbnails so you can confirm the sequence before committing. Mixed page sizes, mixed orientations, and PDFs from different producers (Adobe, Word export, Pages, scanner output) all merge into a single coherent document. Unlike command-line PDFtk merging, our pipeline correctly merges PDFs with form fields by renaming colliding field names — a footgun that produces broken forms in cheaper tools. The output retains a clean structure tree, which means accessibility software still works and the file is safe for archival.
